If my memory is correct I used Go Walkabout on
www.go-walkabout.co.uk

Give it a try.

I've just booked my insurance with go walkabout (mentioned above) - they seem like a really good company and it was definately the lowest quote that I got.

They're happy to cover the light manual work and also high level trekking (for anyone going up kilimanjaro) for a small extra charge.

As an idea, I'll be in Tanzania for 6 weeks, and I went for the premium cover and its cost me ?96.

Hope this helps!

Hi everyone,

?I'm going out in June for 3 months and have been looking at different travel insurance policies on the web ... I haven't booked it just yet but I think the best one so far is Endsleigh which have a special 'gap year travel' cover that includes loads of stuff including ?1500 for baggage (?250 max per item) which seems pretty good as I'm planning to take a digital camera and an ipod out there .... altogether cover for 3 months is quoted at ?95 - anyone had any luck with other companies?

?thanks! sabina xx
