Applying

Applications must be made using the on-line application form that is available on this site.

In order to use the application form you must first login or register. Once you have logged in, an option will appear on the right of the page allowing you to make a new application or continue an existing application. If anything goes wrong whilst applying please contact support@volunteerafrica.org with details.

On completion, applications are sent first to the Volunteer Co-ordinator for initial assessment.

The next stage will be for you to speak to one of our interviewers. This can be done on a face-to-face basis but, given the geographical spread of applicants, this is more likely to occur by telephone. All of our interviewers are returned volunteers and will be able to answer any questions you have about the VolunteerAfrica experience. It is also a chance to focus your mind on the objectives of your trip and what is expected of you as a volunteer.

Once your application has been processed you will be assigned to your interviewer by email. Therefore it is very important that when completing the application form you ensure that your email address is correct.
