Registering with your Embassy or High Commission

It is recommended that volunteers register with their Embassy / High Commission when overseas. This is in case of emergency and your Embassy / High Commission will know that you are in the country and can contact you by email.

Some of the online registration pages ask you to submit a street address and not a PO Box address. Unfortunately some of our partner NGOs only have PO Box addresses. Advice from the Embassies / High Commissions is to enter UNKNOWN in the street address field and to give as much detail as possible especially the email address you will be using when overseas.
